Progress???

So how's everyone doing with their vids. I know it's early, just curious. I'm in the process of getting my media. I know some other members on my team have started. How are you guys doing?

I should apologize to my teammates for lagging it in terms of working on the video. But ive been drowning in school work. I have a 5 day weekend so im planning to use it by getting some audio editing done and give my teammates some direction and the chance to get this thing started.

Right now I'm almost finished the intro, but I'm having a freezing problem with Vegas. Every time I open Vegas it freezes and only allows me to edit for 10 seconds every 5 minutes with the rest of the time being frozen. I have no viruses (finally), 30gb free, and I've only used about 10 BUs in the project. Help anyone?

it could be the file format, vegas doesnt let me use some of my .avi files, so i have to convert, what files are the BUs?

They're .mpg and .vob. It's not that the BUs aren't working it's just that Vegas keeps freezing up and it doesn't make sense because Vegas works when I do another project and this project only has 11 files in it.
