My top three announcing teams are:
JR and The King (pre SummerSlamish 2002)
Michael Cole and JBL
JR and Paul Heyman
Now the critical thing for me about a good announcing team is having a face vs a heel commentator. This always works if played right.
WWE desperately need to get rid of JR and Tazz and King and Lawler together. There's zero chemistry in either pairing. And if they got them back together, like I said, it has to have that element of good versus bad in it, otherwise it doesn't work. At the moment we seem to have guys just reporting the action as if they were journalists, which in the OTT world of wrestling is not good. Thoughts?
