More Christian Cage talk...

Several readers sent word that TNA finally pulled Christian Cage off their website's roster page yesterday. There had been no communication between the company and Cage since he was written out of the company after an attack by the Main Event Mafia. Had Cage opted to remain, he would have been the lead talker and top face for the TNA Frontline group, although the belief all along within the company was that he had made his decision several months ago to move on.

Sources claimed Cage became less interested and enthused with the product and harder to deal with dating back to early October. In a meeting with Dixie Carter and Jeff Jarrett, Cage was said to have told them he had another offer and was siding with taking it, but hadn't made up his mind, according to the source.

The belief is that Cage has quietly signed with WWE and will debut as part of the Smackdown brand shortly. His TNA deal officially expired last week.

To be honest, I really do hope all this hype for Christian isn't just a flash in the pan like Jericho originally when he redebuted in 2007.

If his going to come back, it has to be the rumble. I think his going to screw Jeff out of the title and have either an Edge and Christian vs The Hardyz rival
or
have Christian saying he wants title shot because he helped Edge out so then it will be an Edge vs Christian vs Jeff rival

I personally would like to see Matt revealed as the assailant, teaming with Edge and have Christian helping Jeff setting up a different feud from E and C versus the Hardyz again although anything with Christian involved would be awesome. Though Matt is probably destined to be forever midcard so they may well choose not to even include him in the feud.
